The Site

Most cover sites on the net focus on those that are interesting or are themed. This site is different. My focus is on providing the best quality reproductions of cover art for users of digital-music players, such as Apple's iTunes, which I solely recommend.

The artwork contained on this site has almost entirely been hand-scanned by myself and touched up with Lemkesoft's incredibly useful GraphicConverter and Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Covers have been provided by myself and a number of friends. If you see something you don't like, don't blame me! I'm just trying to provide as wide a range of covers as possible. Taste in music or aesthetic merit are no object. Don't make any judgements on my musical taste from looking at these covers as the offending ones may not be my own!

I'm a perfectionist, so you'll find that most of these covers are extremely high-quality. I've included everything I've done, even though I'm unhappy with most of my earlier work. From time to time as these covers pass my desk again, I will rescan them.

Artwork Folder

Every now and again I will feature covers on the front page. The rest of the artwork is contained in a folder. This is ugly and non-intuitive, but until I can work out how to get a MySQL implementation up and running on my server, it will have to do.

The artwork folder is organised as follows:

First Level: Type of title

• Albums: Releases by individual artists, whether groups or solo artists (includes music videos)
• Compilations: Various-artists compilations (includes music videos)
• Soundtracks: Soundtrack releases, whether by various artists or individual artists
• Videos: VHS or DVD covers, but not music videos.

Second Level (Albums)

• You'll find all the letters of the alphabet. Click the letter that corresponds to the first letter of the artist's name (solo artists are listed by first name, last name). This will open the folder and you can find the artist name. Then click the name to show all the covers related to that artist.

Feedback

I would love to hear feedback. Contact me to tell me what you think, how useful you think the site is, etc. As I can only scan covers that I can physically access, I won't be able to do requests. I'm sorry about this. All I can do is continually expand my collection.
